Inside The Car
- The lights on each floor should be replaced if they have burned out.
- Check the clearances and door panels.
- Make sure the smoke detectors and fire alarms are working.
Outside The Car
- Maintain a clear, open, and unobstructed path for the doors.
- Ceilings, handrails, and walls should be checked for signs of damage.
- Make sure all lights in the control panel are working, and replace any that are burnt out.
- Ensure that the emergency stop button works properly.
- Verify that 911 or the local fire department can be reached quickly on the emergency phone.
In The Machine Room
