Objective & Goal
The primary objective was to minimize downtime and repair expenses while simultaneously enhancing safety measures and improving the overall experience for riders. By implementing strategic maintenance practices and investing in advanced technology, we aimed to create a more reliable and enjoyable environment for all users, ensuring that our services remain efficient and responsive to the needs of the community.
Project Execution
This project included nine elevators across three buildings. All nine of the 13-stop mid-rise elevators were fully modernized. Each elevator was completely replaced with new, state of the art equipment with dispatching technology that maximize safety and efficiency. One mid-rise elevator replacement of this size takes approximately 14 weeks upon mobilization for a modernization team to complete, putting this project at 2.5 years on on-site construction.
